Mother's Day Family Workshop, May 11th 2-4pm
May 11th, 2-4pm
This class purchase covers 2 people / 2 pieces. Additional family members are welcome to join the workshop for $30 a person, and your group is welcome to make more than 2 pieces with similar hand-building techniques such as ring dishes or pencil cups. Additional pieces are $40 to fire.
This Mother’s Day Family Workshop includes the tools, materials, and assistance with making a flower jar topper and a heart-shaped coil pot out of balls of clay at tables in the studio. It will be a great way to spend creative quality time with family and friends and create fun pieces that will last a lifetime!
After your class our staff will dry, bisque fire, glaze (with your color of choice) and glaze fire your pieces. They will be ready to pick up about 3 weeks after your class. Please note, no painting or glazing occurs during this class.
No experience is required for this class - No minimum age if adult is present.
Preparations for Your Class
Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes before your class.
Clay easily washes out of clothes, but we suggest wearing clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting messy.
Parking
Please feel free to utilize the full parking lot beside and behind our building. Weekends can make parking difficult, due to the heavy bar traffic. In addition to bar traffic, we are roughly 100ft north of the train tracks on Southern. For these two traffic reasons, we strongly encourage students to plan to arrive 15 minutes before their class.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens, we get that! Unfortunately because this is a unique workshop, no cancellations are permitted after May 8th.
Tardiness Policy
There are a lot of steps involved the process of creating pottery; for that reason, we are unable to catch up students who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their class. Tardy students are not eligible to move their class to a later date.
