Couples Intro to the Wheel: Saturday 2/15, 11am

$145.00

This class purchase covers 2 people and 2 wheels.

Saturday 2/15, 11am

Our intro class takes place every Saturday afternoon and Saturday night and caps at 10 people per class. This class focuses on learning how to throw 3 basic forms on the wheel - pieces such as succulent planters, spoon rests, ice cream bowls, etc.. In this special Valentine’s Weekend edition of the class, partners will swap wheels every 15 minutes and take over the creation of that piece.

You will make one handled mug during this class. After your class our staff will dry, bisque fire, glaze (with your color of choice) and glaze fire your mug. It will be ready to pick up 3-4 weeks after your class. Please note, no painting or glazing occurs during this class.

No experience is required for this class - Minimum Age - 13 years old.

Preparations for Your Class

Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes before your class.

Clay easily washes out of clothes, but we suggest wearing clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting messy.

Please trim your fingernails before class. Uncut nails will make the entire process of shaping your pieces difficult, if not impossible

Parking

Please feel free to utilize the full parking lot beside and behind our building. Weekends can make parking difficult, due to the heavy bar traffic. In addition to bar traffic, we are roughly 100ft north of the train tracks on Southern. For these two traffic reasons, we strongly encourage students to plan to arrive 15 minutes before their class.

Cancellation Policy

Life happens, we get that! If you won’t be able to attend the class you signed up for, send us an email at Micah@belltowerpottery.combefore 48 hours to your class date. Unfortunately, we cannot provide credit for a no call no show, and all changes must be submitted 48 hours prior to the class date.

Tardiness Policy

There are a lot of steps involved the process of creating pottery; for that reason, we are unable to catch up students who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their class. Tardy students are not eligible to move their class to a later date.
